Apple Days: Firefox sucks

Tuesday, July 10th, 2007

As I previously mentioned, I’ve finally bought a Mac. Also, I previously mentioned I installed Firefox to use over Safari.

FIREFOX ON OSX SUCKS.

Its slow, it eats memory, and it makes my Powerbook sluggish. After experiencing Firefox on a Mac, I want absolutely nothing to do with it. Steve Jobs recently hinted that he wants to destroy Firefox on all platforms: I don’t blame him. Safari is obviously the superior browser here. It’s fast, it uses little memory, and it displays pages accurately. Not only that, the one feature I sorely missed (being able to reorder tabs) has been added in Safari 3.0.

Safari may not support the Firefox extensions I use, but I don’t really need them anyhow, I hardly ever use them. I never use del.icio.us, the 4chan plugin doesn’t really provide much, and StumbleUpon kinda sucks now adays. The only thing I need to do now is get Konqueror doing what I want on Linux so I can get rid of this bloated mess of a browser altogether.

Rob Levin’s Spinhome blog crashes Firefox

Monday, May 1st, 2006

Well, this is a strange turn of events. Apparently, Rob’s Spinhome blog consistantly crashes my Firefox (Ubuntu Dapper’s current build as of May 1st, 10:55pm). Interesting, no?

New Spread Firefox Ads

Monday, December 6th, 2004

I noticed the Spread Firefox campaign was lacking ads for the 160×600 ‘Wide Skyscraper’ format that I use with Google AdSense, so I made some up, which you can view here and here.
