Rob Levin’s Spinhome blog crashes Firefox

Well, this is a strange turn of events. Apparently, Rob’s Spinhome blog consistantly crashes my Firefox (Ubuntu Dapper’s current build as of May 1st, 10:55pm). Interesting, no?

That site doesn’t crash here. I’m using Firefox 1.5.0.2.

Yeah, its really weird. Firefox 1.5.0.2 in Windows doesn’t do it, and Ubuntu Dapper’s Firefox identifies itself as 1.5.0.2 (it is patched, however).

Is this still happening to you?
I’ve got 1.5.0.3 at this point, and only 3 extensions (AdBlock+, filterset.G, and TabMixPlus) and I have a piece of mail in gmail that’ll crash it every time. :/

(I think I’m going to try the mozilla release rather than the ubuntu release.)

Indeed! mozilla’s binary doesn’t crash. Off to tell the ubuntu devs.

It doesn’t seem to do it on Dapper’s newest Firefox build (which is 1.5.0.3) based. So apparently whatever was wrong as been fixed.
