The End of Hubble?
Sunday, January 23rd, 2005 at 3:00 pmNikolaos Karastathis has a well worded article up on why we should save the Hubble. I completely agree with him. Even if it cost $10 billion I think it would be far worth it. The Hubble has brought so many scientific advances, that I think it would be a shame to stop it when it could bring us so many more.
Please people, write to your Congressmen and plead them to fund the Hubble Space Telescope!
[...] NSK replied to my reply to his article about Hubble’s peril. He writes, “We should really start an initiative to save Hubble“. I completely agree with NSK (again). [...]
Hi, this is NSK, the author of the linked article. Thank you for reading my HST article. I feel that somebody should organise an initiative to help the public understand why Hubble is so important and send a letter (signed by Internet users) to those responsible in USG. If you or somebody you know can organise such an initiative, I could provide webhosting and software. See my blog post: http://nsk.wikinerds.org/blog/index.php?p=127
