Linux 2.6.10 Released

KernelTrap is mumbling about Linus finally releasing 2.6.10 after centuries of waiting and plotting and raising a zombie army.

“Mostly a lot of small fixes since 2.6.10-rc3, with the biggest thing being probably the CIFS update and the switch-over to the new DVB frontend driver world order. Some MMC and USB work too, and ARM updates as usual.”

And as usual, you should wait a few days before upgrading to make sure Linus doesn’t need to brown bag this one.

Huygens Launch Soon

The BBC is reporting that in about two hours Huygens will be launched from Cassini, and start it’s journey towards Titan. I’m so excited.

Dropping Google Ads

I have decided to drop Google AdSense ads. They work great, and they pay somewhat decently, but I just don’t think they are appropriate for my blog.
