Final Template Changes
Saturday, December 25th, 2004 at 6:21 amFor the most part, I think I’ve finally finished my template. There may be minor changes every once in awhile, but is pretty much finished. By the way, it doesn’t work in Microsoft Internet Explorer, and never will.
It looks fine in Opera. Nice “transparency” trick. – Jarrod
ahhhhh, *that’s* how it’s done. I read about that trick on someone’s demo site a while ago, and promptly forgot about it.
It still looks neat.

Well, so far, all I know about is that it doesn’t support the fixed positioning of backgrounds with CSS. Though, I doubt that it is the only thing broken.
What fixed positioning, you ask? Thats how I do the transparency trick. There really isn’t any transparency, its done using two different backgrounds (one original, the other with the coloring over it), and used fixed positioning to hold both of them still.
Love the template. It looks clean, the background is nice, the transparencies are cool, and it’s kinda neat to see something that MSIE can’t render properly. Let me guess–bog-standard CSS that IE trips over? Let’s hear it for CSS wizardry!!
I’ll get around to adding this site to my blogroll later. I’m too lazy to do it right now.
Keepign an eye on 2004 MN4?
