Media Factory tells AnimeSuki to Stuff It

Thursday, December 9th, 2004 at 11:00 pm

Media Factory Inc., the well known Japanese animation studio has decided to make war against the anime fans of the world, and has threatened AnimeSuki with legal action unless they pull all information about their animes.

I urge the fandom to stop sharing all Media Factory works, stop continue fansubbing their works, and stop watching their works (if you own any DVDs or tapes, throw them out) as our return volley in the war against corperate ignorance. If Media Factory wants to reduce their global mindshare, then I say lets help them.

Their anime titles includes (list partially yanked from AnimeSuki): Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (including Akane Maniax), Genshiken (including Kujibiki Unbalance), School Rumble, Gankutsuou, RahXephon OVA, UFO Princess Warukyure, Pugyuru, Vandread, Bakuretsu Tenshi, Infinite Ryvius, Kimi Nozo, Green Green, Piano, Chobits, Love Hina, Dears, Azusa Will Help, and Aishiteru ze Baby.

Make your voice be heard! Contact AnimeSuki, Wannabe Fansubs, AnimeNation, Anime Reactor, and Lunar Anime to tell them you are against the community support of any Media Factory title!

Works for me! I don’t like Japanese anime, anyway, and I avoid buying products from corporate bullies whenever possible. Since the U.S. entertainment industry started their overbearing campaign against piracy, I haven’t bought any music or movies from them. The old classics sans copyright never sounded better. So there!
