George Lucas announced that we will never see the Star Wars Christmas Special ever released on DVD. “The Holiday Special was the biggest fuck-up ever.” says George, which I have to agree with. I mean, really, without Alec Guinness, its just not Star Wars.

FIA On3 Networked Media Player Review

The FIA On3 is a networked media player that, among other things, can play Vorbis Ogg files; and this is the only reason I mention it. Designtechnica reviewed it a few days back. It looks pretty cool, but the price is insane, and it can’t do FLAC or Speex either.

Helium 3 reactions requires deuterium (an isotope of hydrogen) to react and release energy; I wonder how much deuterium this method would produce. Even if it didn’t produce much, the hydrogen itself could be used as a cheap, clean, and abundant fuel source. I wonder if hydrogen and helium 3 reactors will be common place five or ten years from now.
